Today I wore…

baby led weaning clothes

Today I wore pyjamas for as long as I could; right until I got my shower at around 10am. Noah started eating breakfast today. I offered him little bits and pieces while sitting on my knee twice at my parents’ this weekend, but today I sat him in the high chair for breakfast.

Mango is yummy and squishy!

After breakfast and a little play with James, Noah tends to have a nap, and today was no different; so this is usually when I manage to grab a shower.
After my shower I wore my Mama Feelsgood “Mothership” t-shirt. I wore this right up until we were ready to leave the house for Artventurers. It was clean all the morning, even after lunch, which is when I usually get a sticky-mouthed kiss on my collarbone during a cuddle with James. So far, so clean. Then Noah was sick. In a big way. He managed to avoid his clothes, thank goodness, and just get it all over me and the floor. I see food hasn’t helped his reflux yet, then.
So I quickly changed into another Mama Feelsgood t-shirt, this time my Kodiak Island shirt.

Obviously this photo wasn’t taken today!

Off we went to play with sand and paint and glitter. I came home relatively unscathed as far as art materials on my jeans or t-shirt go.
I’m definitely not the only mum I know who comes home and changes into comfy pyjamas, or at the very least takes her bra off.
This evening I put my H&M nursing vest on, with a pair of Tiny Viking trousers (made especially for me – I love that!).

Hmmm. And all that was fine until bath time when James splashed just a bit too much and I sat there, stunned and wet.

So now, I’m wearing a t-shirt I won in a re-tweeting competition from North Tyneside council, and no trousers, because I don’t want to wake Noah by rummaging in the drawers in our bedroom for joggers.

What did you wear today?

Sounds like you had a lot if changes on that day!! Although, let’s face it… Being a mum of a baby means every day is full of changes for both of you. I remember those days well. Thanks for linking up to #SundayStars xxx

Haha, this made me giggle and I have definitely had days like this at home. As I work in a nursery most days I am covered in glue, paint, and all other things that get wiped on my clothese. Thanks so much for linking up with #ToddlersAndTeens at Mummy 2 Monkeys xx
